I don't know how you are all coping as these strange days of lock down drag on, I do have good days when I feel more positive and productive, but I also have some days when I wish I had never got out of bed. My brain feels as if it's been unplugged, my emotions are all over the place, I'm getting almost constant headaches or migraines and I can't concentrate on anything. This morning, with yet another headache I decided to do something about it, and instead of my usual quick shower I made a bath bag to bring some much needed peace and healing. I usually use a square of muslin tied up with some string for my bath bags, but I saved some small muslin drawstring bags that contained some herbal remedies I brought a while ago for this very purpose. If you have neither you could use a sock tied up with string or cut a foot from an old pair of tights - and if you haven't got a bath you can make an infusion/tea with the herbs, pour it into a jug once ready and pour it over you when you are in the shower. I went through my herb collection and chose lavender for peace, rose petals and rosemary for healing, but go with what you have and what you are drawn to use. I used about a tbsp of each, but the amount will depend on the size of your material/bag. I placed the herbs into the bag and dropped it into my bath as the water ran, I then lit a blue candle although again use what you have and are drawn to, and placed it along with an amethyst and clear quartz crystals on the corner edge of my bath. If you do use a muslin bag remember to tie the drawstrings tightly, or you will end up with a bath full of bits, which might look pretty, but will be a pain when they block your plug hole! Once in the bath, I relaxed and concentrated on the candle flame and the energies of the water and herbs, by the time I got out my headache had eased and I felt much more like myself. This bath would also be good to take in the evening if you have been having trouble sleeping.
